Bucci Composites S.p.A. is strengthening its commitment to the energy transition with the installation of a new 1 MWp photovoltaic system at its production facility in Faenza. The project, developed in partnership with EnWe S.r.l. – a UNI 11352 certified ESCo – and co-financed by the Energy Fund of the Emilia-Romagna Region, is part of a broader strategy focused on energy efficiency and environmental responsibility. This concrete initiative further reinforces the company’s ongoing commitment to sustainability.
Measurable Energy and Environmental Results

The project was developed based on a comprehensive energy audit, which clearly identified the operational and environmental priorities. The new system, together with the existing photovoltaic installations, will cover approximately 30% of the company’s total electricity needs. With an estimated annual output of 933 MWh of renewable energy, the initiative will result in savings equivalent to 174 TOE (tons of oil equivalent) and a reduction of approximately 470 tons of CO₂ emissions per year — an environmental benefit comparable to planting 3,000 trees, or the equivalent of 10 hectares of forest.
